Since I downloaded the security patch for January 2025 S22 Ultra, my data connection now trips of and on on its own. The connection goes off and my phone loses connection for no apparent reason. Samsung should fix please!

I had the same issue! Luckily I had insurance and they bought the phone back from me. It wasn't even paid off! It is a known issue with the card that the sum card slot & usb jack is connected to & something to do with the wireless antenna. Most of the technicians know nothing of it because Samsung refuses to acknowledge that there is an issue. I went through several trips to the attt store and after about 6 visits the guy I was working with got through to someone in tech support & he told us that it was a known issue. I posted on here about it, but one of the moderaters took it down! I hope this gets through to you before it is removed again!

Wow, so they're intentionally damaging people's phone? I think I'll go to the Samsung office here to sort it out if it doesn't resolve on its own.

Good luck! My phone was still under warranty, & worked very well, but when I took it to the shop, they checked the internal drop counter & because it had been dropped they refused to cove it! Really crappy way of treating customers who spend thousands on their phones!

I am curious how you were able to download the update because I have had no luck in achieving this due to issues with Verizon.

I just went to the software update and installed it. I am with T-Mobile btw but it's good that you haven't installed it because I don't think this one is good
