Open up your sound panel by tapping one of the volume keys and tapping the three dots at the top of the slider. This will open your full panel and you can adjust the volume of of the system sounds, notification sounds, media sounds and ringer independently of each other. Alternatively, you can do the same by going to settings/sounds and vibration and tapping on volume and adjusting all the volume levels to your liking.
