So I just tried the new tap to transfer feature. It works. I would like to know why I had to turn off developer options to use it. I didn't realize how snappy my phone was until I started swiping notifications and they moved away so slow. I need developer options on๐คฃ can someone explain?
Developer mode being on is a security risk, and Samsung Wallet takes security seriously. For the credit cards it's not as important, but for a debit card and tap to transfer, it most certainly is, as debit cards do not often carry the same protection as credit cards do, and a bad actor would have access to your whole bank account. Your only options here would be to a) forego developer mode, b) turn developer mode off when you want to use the feature (I am sure you are not using it every day) and then turn it back on afterward, c) don't use the new feature.
