New notification behaviors

So two things I just realized with the new notification behavior:

1. Not only did they move the clear button ALL THE WAY to the bottom right instead of just below the notifications themselves

2. Now when you press clear, persistent notifications that you want to stay will now ALSO disappear which is even more bs than before.

We already complained before how they made it where you can accidentally swipe away persistent notifications when before they used to be locked, but at least the clear button wouldn't remove them. Now in this update it removes EVERYTHING.

This is the most infuriating part because I have to open the apps back up everytime I want their persistent notifications to come back. I can already picture some guy in the comments with the most useless reply telling me "just don't use the clear button" just so he can get all the dumb Samsung badges, but when I wake up with YouTube and other apps that filled up my notifications I tend to just use the clear all button.

Genuinely might switch to another phone that isn't Samsung if this is the new norm!

Edit: Found a solution in good lock within the notistar app, again, crazy the hoops we have to jump through with these updates:

You can't even swipe them away. You have to tap on them and let the app open. It doesn't even give u a drop down arrow to tell u what the notification was for. So I have to literally go into each one and tap on it. Does anyone have a fix or a workaround or am i stuck like this forever ?

All we can do is hope they somehow push an option to revert or hope they add a fix to all these problems, I just hope our voices are loud enough or they won't care as long as people are just making them money. Biggest regret not looking on the forums before letting it update.

I just updated my phone and I have this same problem it's so stupid I really hope they change this, I can't swipe them away and there's no clear button I have a galaxy A54 and at first I was loving the update untill I found out I can't clear notifications, and I get ALOT of notifications

I can't open Microsoft apps after last update. Tech doesn't know why. This phone just became junk.

Seriously and people wanna say we're just over exaggerating and nit picking, so annoying what we have to deal with now.

So I'm not sure if anybody commented the fix to this annoying issue because I haven't read through all the comments but just in case no one did I finally figured it out cuz this was driving me nuts and I couldn't find the answer anywhere. If you scroll down from the top panel and tap on panel settings you can have the option for "together". Not only does this make it like it used to be with one swipe down but it also fixes the notification issue where it gives you the preview of the notification when you drop it down, and it allows you to swipe the notifications away. I had this phone since February and it took me this long to figure this issue out. My phone feels a thousand times better I don't know why they made this decision to change it in the first place.

I understand the clear button is now at the very bottom of the notification area instead of just below the last notification.

You then tap on it and set which apps you want as persistent.

Notistar and nicecatch are awesome. My lsst notistar saved item was a week ago ...i never turned it off. When i open the and enable it the tab is on then i close it and its off again. Ive tried all the settings in the aop...wont staybon...any feedback
