Need help/ Is this damaged?

Recently got Galaxy S22 from ebay. With sides looking like Sun burnt or transparent. Is this originally came like this or what might caused it? The rest of the phone in great condition. Seller says: "it was enclosed in a latex protector all its life, so no its in pristene condition."

To me, that looks like the placement of the stickers that come on the phone when it was shipped to protect the frame. They might have left the stickers on, and it caused a discoloration, but it shouldn’t harm the phone.

That’s great to hear on a S22 has no scratches or any other damage. It seems like that discoloration is just a result of the stickers rubbing against the inside of the case.  It won’t cause any issues with its usage.  I recommend getting a case that covers it, so no one would ever know.
