Awful update of one UI 6. Recently upgraded my s22 ultra to one UI 6 and I really wanna go back. Last time I wrote about the issues in the gallery app, video player in gallery app, and notification panel. After discovering more things about new update is that now I can't play my audio in 2 different Bluetooth speakers at once using media control. I also can't switch back and forth the audio from Bluetooth speaker to my phone speaker and to achieve this I either need to disconnect the speaker or turn off the Bluetooth. This is getting absurd, day by day. These are all my daily activities in life and samsung have completely messed things around and there is no going back. Very poor update from samsung especially at the time of Christmas and season of music. The developers of this  upgrade have arbitrarily made changes without thinking about the users.

There are two issues I'm experiencing my Samsung Galaxy A1 with the One UI 6.1 update. Screen wakeup and auto rotate work intermittently.

Most reverb update was a disaster. The numerous keyboards ruined my store swipe text and adds weird in languages i never use. It also changed my defaults and i continuously have to punch type to correct for the ridiculous words

The touch-to-wake on a watchface complication in AOD is a bad experience to automatically go straight to the app.  Have an option to either turn off touch-to-wake or have an option to not automatically go to an app from AOD if a complication is tapped.

One UI has several frustrating, user-unfriendly elements, I hope they fix these:

  • Instead of a simple three-finger swipe, you have to use your palm to take a screenshotā€”completely impractical.
  • Wi-Fi doesnā€™t automatically connect to a stronger network, even with the setting enabled. This is the first phone Iā€™ve seen with such an issue.
  • Notifications are not grouped into categories by default, and you have to manually enable this.
  • Call recording is missing (though itā€™s supposedly coming in One UI 7).
  • Many features require downloading extra apps from the Good Lock suite, which is a hassle.
  • Thereā€™s no straightforward app lock. Instead, thereā€™s a convoluted Secure Folder feature that overcomplicates things.
  • You canā€™t clone every app you want.
  • Thereā€™s no option to show internet speed in the status bar.
  • You canā€™t mute screenshot sounds without turning off all system sounds.
  • Updates often seem to restrict features based on what Iā€™ve read.
  • The much-advertised AI features are mostly useless, and Iā€™ve never felt the need to use them.
  • You canā€™t rotate images in the gallery using two fingers; youā€™re forced to edit and save them instead.
  • Thereā€™s no indication of whether the Wi-Fi is connected to a 5GHz or 2.4GHz network.
  • The ā€œclear notificationsā€ button is annoyingly placed at the top of the screen.
