Galaxy S22I just noticed in my text messages when typing the text box only get so big then I can't see the words because they are under the keyboard. But if I close the keyboard I can see the words. It didn't do this before. I think the app updated and now is doing it. Is there a way to change it back?

Galaxy S22My issue seems to have fixed itself. Hopefully everyone else's issue gets resolved too.

Galaxy S22I too have this problem with the messaging app on my S24. I was able to switch back to the older messaging app, the one with the three dots. That is working fine, doesn't have the problem.

Galaxy S22My ones similar but in gmail when composing an email. It covers the email box and you can't see what you are writing.

Galaxy S22I figured it out! I don't know if it will work for everyone due to different Samsung devices, but it worked for me.
Go to settings and seach for Camera Cutout (option might be named something different depending on device). Set any apps where the keyboard blocks your typing to SHOW camera cutout.

Galaxy S22Hello, I have the same issue in email. As I type, the typing area does not scroll upwards, until my typing is obscured because it is below the keyboard.
This should not work this way.

Galaxy S22This was frustrating, but here is the fix that worked for me.
Go to Settings > General Management > Samsung Keyboard settings
1) "Reset to default settings" > "Reset keyboard settings"
2) "Mode"
- For both modes under "Portrait view" and "Landscape view", ensure that "Standard keyboard" is set for both.
Hope this helps.
