How to make .mov lock screen?

Just supported a creator by getting a really awesome animated background, and want to set it as my lock screen, but it's a 30 second .mov file with audio. I just want it to loop for my lock screen but my phone is saying it's not a supported file - do I need to convert it or something?

I think you have to convert it to an .mp4 format.  If you don't have a video converter, I would ask the creator if they can give it you in that format.
