I'm tired of every update changing half of the settings in my phone and making it feel un-usable. The literal halving of my battery life, the splitting of the notification bar, and the REMOVAL of the swipe button navigation gestures has taken me a week to get back to normal, and this update STILL keeps trying to download and install itself over and ovaer and over again. This was the laziest, sloppiest roll-out of a software update I've ever experienced and I'm not interested in having to go through all of this again when another loser executive with 2 phones decides their user experience is more important than their longtime customers. How do I opt out of all future updates?

Hello, Welcome to the Community. We know change is hard sometimes.

Software updates cannot be turned off. You can postpone the installation of the updates up to three times before it automatically installs to the phone. It may install sooner depending on the urgency of the update. You agree to this in the End User License Agreement. You can read more about it here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/legal/LGL10000282/#standard-limited-warranty
