I didn't forget my pin, but my Galaxy S22 isn't accepting my pin and has locked me out! How can I bypass this lock or reset the pin without a hard factory reset? I don't want to lose everything I have on the phone!
I have the same issue, also on an S22, but in my case I cannot even enter my pin because after typing it in (4 digits), the OK button is still greyed out, so I can't even TRY to enter my pin.
I don't think I have ever set up any backups for this phone, so if I have to factory reset it, I will indeed lose EVERYTHING, so that is a horrible solution for me, for a problem that is not my fault.
OP, was that your issue too, or did your phone just say the pin was incorrect?
What did you end up doing? Did you do a factory reset? Were you able to restore a backup of your stuff? Did you find a different way to get back into your phone somehow?
It was actually on my dad's phone. I was able to get in after guessing a missed digit for his password. Apparently he did mess up his password when trying to adjust settings, but in the end, he didn't lose anything since we didn't have to re-set. I'm sorry this is happening to you! I know how stressful and frustrating it is! Good luck!
this is happening to me right now. I'm terrified that it's going to make me lose all my most recent pictures if it makes me reset. It doesn't look like the most recent are in my onedrive and the samsung cloud says it doesn't do the gallery. It didn't like my code and then said I tried too many times and it locked me out permanently and to call customer service. They haven't answered me yet and I can't get a hold of an actual person. The pictures and last video of my late husband are on there and I'm absolutely heartbroken thinking they might have to factory reset my phone for something I didn't do. Can't they just unlock it like they locked it????๐ญ
Woke up this morning and couldn't gain access to my phone, Galaxy 25 ultra. I did not have a lock/pin set up due to incident with previous phone. Actually I fell asleep playing game. Instead of phone dying out it locked me out so when I tried to get back in it asked for a pin that was never created. Phone been down for 3 days and can not gain access. I do not was to do a factory reset because unsure if it did a phone backup. Was there a new update, I heard someone say they had same problem after a "update". It's funny because I can receive calls. Can I get some help.
