Group texts are broken, possibly from enabling developers mode?

My group text messages are broken. Associate at tmobile believes it is because I had enabled developer mode. Associate also says to get back to ui 6.1.1, I have ui 6.1.

I have disabled developer mode, and backed up my phone. I cannot figure out how to get ui 6.1.1 

Any thoughts on if this is indeed my issue, or how to get ui 6.1.1?

6.1.1 will only show on the Fold and Flip series and tablets. 6.1 on all other devices, if your phone says November, you are up to date.

Broken messages sometimes occur when between iOS and Android systems, the RCS receiver can't load a full SMS format text so it relies on MMS to get the message sent. The structure is sort of wacky because essential what it does is send each individual number by what the platform relies on most - in iOS Messages it would be RCS, and Android typically has done better with SMS.
