Galaxy S22Is there a simple way to have each month/year be it's own album so as not to have to scroll down so far? I have years of photos that I didn't sort as I went and have lots that I'd like to enter on iNaturalist.

Galaxy S22If you use pinch to zoom you can change the time frames that the photos are displayed in.
[edit to include example] If you pinch in, the thumbnails will shrink. As you continue to pinch in, you will get to a Month/Year grouping. See this screenshot

Galaxy S22Your gallery is sorted by date, but you would have to put the photos into albums manually. If you go into your Gallery and choose the "pictures" tab at the bottom of the screen, you will see all your photos, sorted by week. You can select photos in a range and move them into an album, but that would be a project you'd do in bits when you have time to kill if you have many photos. There is no way to automate this process. You can also search by date: month or year or month and year so less scrolling to find what you are looking for.
