Factory reset s22 ultra and now Google messages won't verify number and no RCS messages

Factory restored my wifes Samsung s22 ultra and now google messages won't verify her mobile number no RCS chat enabled just keeps saying verifying number any help would be appreciated.

Go and clear the app cache and storage after you force stop the app. Next time you open all should be good.

To enable RCS on your Android device, open the Google Messages app, tap on your profile picture or icon in the top right corner, select "Messages settings," then go to "Chat features" and toggle on "Enable chat features." Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data for the setup to work.

Follow the following steps and see if this works. I had this issue happen to me and this is what I did to fix it.

Turn phone into airplane mode.
Uninstall Google Messages
Reboot phone
Take phone off airplane mode
Reinstall Google Messages.

Okay what i did was I turned on airplane mode, restarted the phone and than turned it off because it wouldn't even let me text, a hour or two later i had rcs also what you could do is just create another group chat or smtg and it sends it to the other people in the same group chat.
