Display brightness up top feature missing

Hey all!  Just spent the whole day getting my s22 setup only to find out i can not move my displqy brightness to the top!  My buddys s22 no problem it is there. My option is missing. Can anyone offer incite on this??  I really do not feel like wiping the phone to start over again, and find out it was not working still.

Are you referring to the brightness bar as I've highlighted in red ?
