I rebooted recently & contact birthdays show up in my calendar. This feature is turned off, but they are there. Why did they show up? How do I remove them without destroying my calendar?

BTW I hate upgrades that automatically add to the system. Additions should br my choice, not a programmer!

Can you verifying by selecting the calendar and enabling and disabling it. Then resyncing the calendar

Also the red auto fill format is backward from the blue enabled entry.

If I enable in the calendar then there are two of the same. When I enable they are in Blue. The auto fill ones are red.

Having the same issue! All my contacts birthdays are now showing all my calendars, and the option to de-select on the left-hand side is no longer available.

I talked to a Samsung repair guy in person, & he determined it was a Google feature that automatically dropped the birthdays into my calendar. I like my color coded calendar & didn't like the option of using a different one. So I manually deleted the birthdays out of the calendar by choosing Move all events in series to Trash. This took out all of them from the calendar but left in my contacts. It's time-consuming but worth it.

I'm having the same issue. I was just adding an event in my calendar, after doing so, something popped up, no clue what it was, and it was so fast, I accidently clicked on it and all of a sudden, contacts birthdays in my calendar. I have tried unclicking the contact button on the menu and they're still there. I hate updates!!! But when I try and google to figure out the answer, there's nothing other than what I've done. So beyond frustrated right now.
