This Android One UI 7.0 update failed to include a setting to roll back the battery percentage indicator to the old one. The solid background with dark font is impossible to read without reading glasses now.

I kinda like it's nice but do wish they gave options for icons instead to cater to all tastes like they've done with the time and date

It better... The new (and definitely NOT improved) icon for battery percentage is very difficult to read.

Samsung needs to have more input from users regarding legibility, and especially from those whose eyesight is even slightly compromised.

I use reading glasses with low magnification (approximately +1.25/1.50) and can barely read the notification bar with them on.

I agree. I feel like it's too rounded as well

The battery icon in ui6 version 14 is much easier to read and larger and while ui7 android 15 is hard to read font inside the battery percentage circle is terrible. Increasing icon size on screen does not make a difference for status bar there is no changes that will increase the size of the status bar.

Exactly, it would be butter if they adjusted it to be easier to read. I like the idea of the percentage inside the battery, but it needs a lot of work.
