After this recent update, my S22 is now auto taking photos whenever it detects a face. How do i disable this?

Sitting on the bog reading messages the camera still goes off and every photo uses flash and it's the front camera

@Shaneless when this behavior occurs, is the camera app showing a three-second countdown before taking the photo as it does when one triggers a photo by showing a palm or saying "capture?" Is there any chance your power button got mapped to photo capture and is stuck in by a case? Was the update you got on Tuesday the OneUI 7 update with the April patch or did you get the May update already? I have not seen this behavior but am curious.

I'm pretty sure it's the ui7 update i got, but i did get it in May. I was never aware of an auto capture when showing a palm before this update. It's not something I've ever experienced. But just tested it and it does indeed take a picture when I show a palm. And it's no longer auto snapping my face. I'm not wearing the Deadpool shirt right now either. Perhaps something on the shirt was setting it off?

Mine is doing it with the rear cam, when it sees dark! Or just random times, face or not. Only using shutter button on screen, no timer nothing. Just random shutter even when I'm focusing in to take my own shot!!!
