Can't send screenshot.the way my homescreen was set up was perfect.now the layout IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

Just FYI, when you are asking for help, it's best to provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots.  No one here knows what your screen looked like prior to whatever happened, so we don't know what you considered to be "perfect".  Nor is anyone here expected to be able to divine what your issues are.

Why can't you provide a screen shot?  Do you not know how?  If your layout is completely different, simply rearrange it back to the way you had it. That's the thing about home screens, you can arrange and rearrange them at will.  If you want the exact setup you had before, I hope you have Good Lock and the Home Up module, then you can use the restore feature to restore your home screen to its former glory.  If you don't have it, you can't restore after the fact, as there would have been nothing backed up.  You can download it now and keep your layout backed up for the future.  

You can try going to your Samsung account, going to the Samsung Cloud and selecting restore and uncheck all the items except home screen and restore your home screen.  This will only be effective if your phone did not back up between the last correct layout and your update which messed it up.  Otherwise, you will just be restoring your new layout.

Well, what did you do to try to solve it?  Take any advice?  You certainly did not give any detail about what your actual problem is, so at least give details about what kind of troubleshooting you did.

Everything is findable. Go through the icons on you screen one by one, or open the app drawer to find your apps. Just be ause your home screen is out of order doesn't mean you wouldn't be able to find your apps.

Hi Try pinching the home screen and check if you switched to another Home layout or go to Settings Apps  One UI Home Storage Clear cache Restart your phone and the home screen should return
