After the 7 ui update, my phone keeps losing connection to service network. I have a circle with a slash symbol. Then it goes to emergency calls only. It'll connection to network briefly then it loses it.

My wifi and Bluetooth work flawlessly, it's the only way I have data right now. We did a network reset. My phone isn't carrier locked, I purchased it from a 3rd party vendor (back market) and it has worked wonderfully until the ui7 update. The strange this is that on Monday of this week it was in and out all day. Dropping calls, no data, then it would work for a few hours, then out again. Then yesterday, absolutely no service.

Do you know if it's running unlocked firmware? Go to settings, about phone, software information and see what it says under build number.

Yeah, that's factory unlocked. You should be able to use the device on any carrier. Let us know what happens after wiping device cache.

Also try what @realaud suggested with another call to Cricket and a different SIM.

Just tried wiping device cache, still the same issue. When cricket support opens at 9am I will contact them again and see if I can speak to a real tech. Thanks all for the help, all.

Sounds like the SIM may have to be re-provisioned. Good luck with the call.

As I said, it is still Cricket's responsibility to make sure the update works on their network.  If the network reset does not work, I would call them back and make sure you get an actual tech support person.  If you know someone with a different carrier willing to lend you their SIM for 5 minutes, you can see if it's actually a problem with Cricket or with the phone.  I think Cricket needs to re-provision your SIM.  I'd also be looking for another carrier.

I am on Verizon and have same issue.  Switched SIMs and everything.  Wiped Caches.  Reset phone completely, which was a major pain, and still no fix.  I am done with Samsung!

Agreed. Makes no sense that Samsung doesnโ€™t take immediate action to fix and even communicate.  When new Pixel 10 comes out, I am ditching Samsung forever!  I have had  a Samsung device since the Note 3 back in 2013.  I am done!
