Galaxy S21

I've had nothing but issues since DAY 1 with this phone.

I've dealt with:

1.) A screen that randomly goes blank/turns black for an unspecified amount of time (occurring, at the very least, DAILY);

2.) Hundreds, if not thousands, of saved files completely disappearing -- even to the extent of the entire contents within a folder disappearing (but, oddly, the folder remains....with 0 files left in it);

3.) Alarms/reminders being randomly set for various times, all throughout the day & night..and go off despite "Do Not Disturb" being enabled or the phone being set to "Mute";

4.) Parts just falling off of the phone, including a camera lens....

5.) ....and the back of the phone (which you obviously know, should never come off) is detaching on one corner/side of the phone;

....and then some!

Unfortunately, the latest **bleep** device that I'm forced to deal with is:

6.) Its inability to recognize a physical SIM card when it is [properly] inserted in the phone.

[This, then progressed to...]

7.) An e-SIM profile that was [briefly] fully functional and will still re-install onto the device..but that, one day, out of the blue, decided it will no longer connect my phone number/the Verizon network to the e-SIM.

- AND -

8.) An inability to charge my device with a charging cable;

9.) A painstakingly slow wireless charging speed that is also beginning to fail;

10.) And, thus, too, the inability to transfer files/photos/ANYTHING via USB-C flashdrive, since that is also unrecognized when inserted in the phone.

The last 4 devices that I had purchased were all Samsung devices....

....but the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is, straight up, trash.

& I'll never buy a Samsung again after dealing with this poorly manufactured, disaster of a phone.

If anyone can share some guidance/wisdom with regards to any 1 (or all) of the issues that I've named, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

So, you've been having a problem for at least 3 years and now decide it's untenable? Or did you recently buy a used model? Buying a used model can be problematic because you don't know what abuse it took prior to your owning it.  And, if it was used, you also have no way of knowing if the previous owner embedded hackerware.  All the behavior you describe sounds as if someone has taken control of your phone remotely. So, do not blame it on Samsung. If you bought it new, then these things should have been reported when still under warranty.  If you bought it used, there is no warranty unless you bought it directly from Samsung as factory refurbished, and still you should have taken care of it during any warranty period.  If you bought it from a marketplace or from an individual, or by some other less reputable sources, you take your chances.
