End of Android OS Support for S21 series

I’ve been a loyal Samsung customer for years, with multiple Samsung products including appliances, monitors, and TVs. I own a Galaxy S21 Ultra and am extremely disappointed that major Android updates will stop at Android 15.

The phone is still fully capable, and ending updates this early feels arbitrary, especially when newer Samsung devices get longer support. This decision makes me seriously rethink buying future Samsung products. Long-term software support is a major factor in customer trust and brand loyalty — please reconsider extending OS updates for the S21 series.

Again, that was the policy at the time. It was changed for subsequent devices. They're not going to make it retroactive.

Again, that's fine. I'm saying it's negatively impacting my decision to stay with the brand. I'm providing my feedback to a major corporation. You seem to have a problem with that.

I don't have a problem with anything. Don't read something into what's not there. If you want to provide feedback to the company, this isn't the venue for that. This is only a user-to-user support forum. No one in charge of decision making at Samsung will see your post. What you're doing here amounts to screaming into the void.

There's nothing to get. I understand the policy. The policy is dumb. That's my opinion. Congratulations on rushing to the defense of a major corporation though.

He wants Samsung to spend millions of dollars so he can get Android 16. He thinks Samsung should be altruistic where he is concerned, otherwise he will take his business elsewhere!

Of course it's a policy/financial decision. Name a company that is magnanimous and says, oh gee maybe we should give BS707 a couple of more years of update. You won't find a company that will do that.
