Dear Samsung Support Team,

I would like to report a persistent technical issue related to Bluetooth connectivity on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (model SM-G990E), specifically affecting the HFP (Hands-Free Profile), which is responsible for managing voice call audio over Bluetooth.

The problem is that while Bluetooth earphones pair successfully and work fine for media playback via A2DP, the device fails to route audio during voice calls through the Bluetooth headset. During calls, the HFP profile simply does not activate, leaving both microphone and speaker inactive through Bluetooth.

This has been confirmed using tools such as Bluetooth Scanner, where the HFP profile is clearly not engaged during calls, despite being connected to working devices like the Redmi Buds 4 Pro.

It is important to clarify:

This is not a hardware issue: the same earphones work perfectly on other Android 15 devices.

This is not an isolated case: several users have reported the same issue across online communities, Samsung support forums, and social platforms—especially on devices with Exynos chipsets.

It is not resolved by standard support procedures: I have performed multiple network resets, factory resets, Bluetooth cache/data clearing, and clean firmware reinstalls via Odin with NAND Erase All. The phone has not been rooted and the bootloader remains locked.

Firmware versions tested:

Android 14:

G990EXXS9FXF1 (INS – international)

G990EXXU9FXD1 (TPA – Panama)

G990EXXU9FXD1 (COO – Colombia)

Android 15:

G990EXXS9GYF1 (TPA – Panama)

G990EXXU9GYD1 (ZTO – Brazil)

G990EXXU9GYD1 (COO – Colombia)

Given that the issue persists across all these versions, I believe it is a firmware-level bug within Samsung's Bluetooth stack, particularly the handling of the HFP profile in One UI on Exynos-based models.

I kindly ask for this report to be escalated to the software development team, as this bug affects a fundamental function of the device and remains unresolved despite extensive troubleshooting. Your attention and a corrective update in the near future would be greatly appreciated by all affected users.
