how to get rid of blue next to the icon on there contact icon

On the text messaging screen next to the contacts icon that little blue. How do I get that little blue. To disappear next to the icon of the contact I don't want to see that they're on

The blue dot shows you who's connected to the RCS Messages. To my knowledge you can't remove the dot without turning off RCS.
