Galaxy S PhonesI have an S20 5G and recently, whenever I open a game (I only have two on my phone), the wifi turns off.
It doesn't just disconnect, the setting is toggled off. It will continue to turn off after I turn it back on.
I haven't noticed it turning off when I'm doing anything else, just when I open games.
I've tried restarting the phone multiple times
I've tried resetting all network settings
I've tried connecting to other wifi networks
I've tried bluetooth tethering to my other phone
I've closed all other apps
I've made sure intelligent wifi, switch to data, power saving mode, and all routines are off.
The wifi still turns off, and it will also show no connection with the bluetooth tethering (Again, only when I open any games)
The phone has no SIM installed, so I can't just use data, and these games need internet in order to work.
If you have any idea how to stop this, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Galaxy S PhonesTry this. Go into settings/security and privacy and make sure auto blocker is turned off and then go into more security settings and make sure that secure wi-fi is off (you get a limited amount of protection for free each month). In your intelligent wi-fi settings, in addition to what you have already done, make sure turn wi-fi on/off automatically is also turned off (this setting shouldn't really be causing this phenomenon).
It is happening with both games? Is there anything in the app settings for the games to allow permission to use internet. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps? Have you downloaded any other game to try to test if it happens with all games or just those two? I'm confident it wouldn't have anything to do with your router settings as, a) you've tried it while connected to other networks, and b) the wi-fi control is on your phone, not the router.

Galaxy S PhonesHi!
Somehow, the issue just... Stopped. Today.
But that doesn't mean it won't come back later, so I went and checked those settings you mentioned and everything was already set as such.
The issue happened whenever I opened either of the games.
I, however, previously uninstalled then reinstalled only one of them (the other game takes a lot of time to download everything again after opening the app and signing back in. Updates take forever to download on this phone for some reason, too. I fear I wouldn't be able to download the additional data if the wifi keeps turning off)
I also, quite some time ago, entered the router options (? unsure if that's what it's called) on my computer and switched the phone to the faster version of the internet when the long updates first became a problem. It didn't help with that issue, and I'm not sure if it's relevant here, but I wanted to bring it up anyway.
Thank you very much for your response! Hopefully I'll continue to not have the issue and won't need to try anything else 🙂
