Hello Samsung Team,

I hope this message finds you well. As a long-time Galaxy user, I greatly admire the innovation and engineering behind the Galaxy S Ultra series. Each year, Samsung sets the standard for Android flagships, and I’d like to share several suggestions for the Galaxy S26 Ultra and future S-series models. These recommendations focus on meaningful upgrades that would enhance performance, display quality, camera versatility, and software functionality.

---

🔋 Performance & Hardware

USB-C Upgrade

Upgrading from USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) to USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) would provide much faster file transfers, especially for users handling 4K/8K video, RAW photos, or large apps. This change would make the phone more capable for professionals and creators.

S Pen with Bluetooth

The S Pen has always set the Ultra apart. Restoring Bluetooth connectivity would re-enable popular features such as remote shutter and presentation controls, boosting both productivity and convenience.

Storage, Memory & Battery

Adopting UFS 4.1 or 5.0 storage and LPDDR6 memory would ensure faster app launches, smoother multitasking, and improved efficiency. Reintroducing a 16GB RAM option would also benefit power users who rely heavily on Samsung DeX or demanding workloads. On the battery side, introducing silicon-carbon technology could deliver higher energy density, extending battery life without increasing device size.

Wireless Charging & Durability

With Qi2 becoming the next standard, integrating Qi2 magnets directly into the phone would allow better alignment with chargers and accessories. Supporting Qi2 v2.2.1 or newer along with raising wireless charging speeds to 25W+ would make wireless charging both fast and reliable. Additionally, upgrading from IP68 to IP69 durability would add even more protection against dust and high-pressure water.

📱 Display Enhancements

Samsung already leads in smartphone displays, but refinements would make the S26 Ultra stand out even more. Increasing resolution slightly to 1440 × 3200 would sharpen visuals and preserve a balanced aspect ratio. Adding 10-bit color depth would improve HDR playback and overall color accuracy.

Boosting peak brightness to 4000 nits would ensure visibility under direct sunlight, while 1920Hz PWM dimming or higher would reduce flicker and eye strain at low brightness. Raising the touch sampling rate to 480Hz+ would provide gamers with more responsive input. Finally, a stronger anti-reflection coating and oleophobic layer would improve visibility and reduce fingerprints during daily use.

📷 Camera Features

The Galaxy Ultra camera system is among the best in the industry, but several refinements could make it even stronger. Introducing a 50MP telephoto lens would improve zoom clarity and detail. Adding a dual or quad LED flash would enhance low-light photography with more even lighting.

For the front camera, enabling EIS (electronic image stabilization) would improve video calls, vlogs, and livestreams by delivering smoother footage. Looking forward, experimenting with an under-display camera would allow for a truly uninterrupted display, supported by Samsung’s software optimization to maintain quality.

---

🔒 Software & Connectivity

On the software side, a built-in App Lock in One UI would provide secure access to sensitive apps without relying on third-party solutions.

Expanding into satellite connectivity—similar to iPhone’s Emergency SOS—would give Galaxy users extra safety in areas without cell coverage, whether hiking, traveling, or during emergencies.

Finally, upgrading to Bluetooth 6.0 or 6.1 would improve wireless performance, offering lower latency, stronger range, and more reliable connections for earbuds, wearables, and other accessories.

---

Closing

Together, these upgrades would meaningfully improve performance, display quality, durability, camera flexibility, and overall user security. Each suggestion reflects practical user needs while ensuring the Galaxy S series continues to set the benchmark for flagship smartphones.

Thank you for your commitment to innovation and for listening to feedback from the Galaxy community. I believe these enhancements could make the Galaxy S26 Ultra one of the most advanced and user-friendly smartphones on the market.

Best regards,

A Galaxy User

I agree with all those upgrades you mentioned. I also really want to see the s ultra include the following

IR face ID login

16 GBs RAM

A revamped camera system including larger sensors all around. I like the idea of the 1/1.1 sony sensor rumored on the main camera but the x3 really needs a larger sensor and 50mpx lense, to be at least on par with the .6 and x5 lenses. A x1, x3 and x5 would create a formidable lineup of lenses for almost any scene if the x3 could even compare to the existing x1 and x5. Right now its just a gimic taking up space for no reason. The main lense also either needs to have a variable aperture of a wider and narrower f stop like the s10 or bring back the f/1.8 because close up shots of things like documents and far away shots such as landscapes suffer too much from detail loss on the edges of the photo that iphone simply wins at since they maintain the f/1.8 aperture. The f/1.4 would create a cool and more natural bokeh effect, but in reality, the useful situations for that are limited when post processing or filters can easisily recreate that. However with variable aperture, photographers can have their cake and eat it too.

The new rumored m14 screen with enhanced brightness, the flex pixel and better battery efficiency would be awesome, but better yet samsung needs to incorporate dobly vision which iphone did a long time ago.

Also including video recording with dolby vision hdr and support for 12bit raw photos is needed. If samsung is going to advertise its s ultra lineup as a true camera phone and take on iphone and the other Chinese ultra androids, 12 bit photo and video is a must.

Upgraded selfie camera

Faster USF 5 storage and next gen ram

Of course general improvements such as the new Snapdragon cpu and whatnot.

Other features that I'd like to see but aren't a must since I'd really have no every day use for them include:

60 watt charging

Larger battery

Qi magnets

2 TB option.

I say these would be cool but not as necessary because I don't even use the existing 45 watt charging since my battery even when using all day at work and school, last about a day and a half and I always top it off on the charger at night, so I never need supper fast charging that degrades the battery faster, nor do I have magnetic accessories that I wouldn't just use a case with anyways. Id like to keep my investment safe by using a case and that would have to have magnets too regardless. And the 2 TB storage option would be good, but I wouldn't likely invest in buying it. 1 TB would be more than sufficient at least in 2025.

Overall the s25 ultra is a great phone but it lags behind competitors like iphone in certain areas. If samsung can add these changes I'd upgrade my s25 immediately, but unless the s26 come out with more than what is rumored, I won't upgrade and just wait since what gets upgraded won't be worth upgrading from what the s25 already has. With these upgrades it would take the s25 from a great phone to the undeniably best phone ever

Ai upgrades are cool and all but what we as customers really want are real tangible upgrades in the hardware of the features that will really make a difference in our lives. Faster processing, linger battery life, brighter screens, higher quality images and more features will bring what ai can never create syntheticaly.

SAMSUNG please listen to these suggestions. #1 for me is Bluetooth in S-Pen, I have an S24U and skipped the S25 for this reason alone. My son got an S25U and he needed an upgrade as he had an S21. The S25 Edge is a dud, both my wife and daughter got them and they do not like it at all, especially the cameras very disappointing.
