I originally purchased 2 Galaxy S10 Plus phones for me and my wife. Somehow they both were signed into my Samsung account rather than having 2 separate ones. Fast forward 5 years later we've both upgraded phones and the single account between the two phones have caused some strange problems between our new phones. If I were to set up a separate Samsung account for my phone and let her keep the original account will that erase anything on my phone? I'm ok with apps and stuff like that because I can redownload. I'm just worried about photos and videos.

I'm pretty sure once you sign out of the old account they will stay on the new device unless they are saved to the cloud and not on your device.  I would suggest copying all of your photo's and everything you want to keep to a  computer that way if they disappear you can copy them back to your device once you sign in with your new email.  What would be best is to download the Google photo app and make sure everything is backup.

That's a good idea about backing them up to the computer. Thanks
