This new now bar sucks. It use to be that my music or podcast apps would be centered and large enough to use it from the lock screen. Now it's a tiny bar at the bottom with tiny buttons that are now harder to push. The writing is tiny and harder to read. This update just keeps getting worse the more I use my phone. Samsung better fix this disaster. Who ever approved this revamp needs to lose there job cause there's no way people said they liked these changes.
Yes! What some of these people don't understand is some of us STILL use wired connections to their vehicles. Try to see what's playing at the bottom of your phone while your driving or GOD forbid you want to switch songs.
@Samsung why not at least allow us the freedom to change this back! Some people with arthritis can't navigate their fingers all the way down there easily one handed either!
I used to love not having to use this feature. But like everything else samsung did, they put it behind a new submenu. Want to take longer to do the same task? We have that! If this remains a feature with no way to seperate the media controls, I will part ways with samsung. The hit to my ability to simply change songs or skip through a track while biking has made my rides more frustrating when a song comes on I do not want to play. One day I had a thing I liked and the next it was this **bleep**. The now bar is like every other app, let the user chose it. The disrespect for the user and for the workers who provided you with good marketable things is unacceptable. Either give users the direct control we had or leave it alone. I know I have never said "hey samsung I love this features design and ease of use, please make it useless."
It's still not fixed with UI8. I would love to turn off the Now bar completely, but that leaves you with NO lock screen media player at all! Please let us choose to go back to the normal media player when Now bar is turned off.
Fixed with ui8? Nope. Default your volunteered into some extended feature of the now bar that accesses more of the data on the phone to integrate ai features I didn't ask for and don't want, Yes. Plus now there are ringtone, notification sound, and do not disturb issues with no actually this is how you fix it. Just blanket reset everything and have to spend hours refiguring out what got changed with your choices you already spent hours deciding and clicking before. Why must all these updates make things less userfriendly, more integrated to using our work products (data generated by OUR actions on OUR devices by US) without any comepsation to the worker that made the data, and always require we undo all the choices we made before. The device let me set it how I want, but thats not a thing you can ever be secure in knowing is actually going to be respected by the phone, the software or the company making it.
