Galaxy S PhonesI am so frustrated. Bought this A36 5G phone less than 24 hours ago. SO many issues and the WORST custoimer support I have ever had, There is no settings function on the phone, and the volume level is almost inaudible. AI tells me use the buttons to adjust. I have no buttons. Then use the on screen sliders. I have no sliders. Just goes round in a circle. Finally said it would connect me to an agent, then shut me off. Nothing. No way to contact customer service. Anoiher problem - the plug doesn't fit into the phone. It falls right out when I try to set the phone down so I can charge it. AU sats its worn out and I have to do things I have no idea how to do. How can it be worn out if it just came out of the box? And there is no way to tell what the charge is. Basically all I have here is an internet searching device when I want a workable telephone. Less than a day in, and this is absolutely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I am so frustrated I'm taking the phone back tomorrow. I don't even want to deal with this kind of nonsense.

Galaxy S PhonesHow do you have no buttons? All phones have buttons. How did you turn the phone on - or off? Is this your first phone ever? You may not have a settings icon on your home screen, but you certainly have one in the app drawer and in the upper right corner of your phone when you pull down the notification shade. It would not be unusual to have to do a factory reset on a phone right out of the box, and perhaps you should try that before returning the phone.

Galaxy S PhonesDear Fellow User,
The settings is located in the notification shade right next to the pen icon, it looks like a cog wheel.
That will take you to the page where you'd have all the configurations for the phone. There are two main ways to navigate through apps on Samsung phones.
- Buttons - Center button, back button and window switch mode.
- Gesture - Simply swipe up to close apps and left and right as needed within an app.
If you bought a new device as someone pointed out you would experience the welcome screen of the device, which would give you a choice of how you want to navigate with the celphone. If you bought the phone used, you wouldn't have this option. You will be forced to use whatever configuration the previous owner used.
If you reset the device, then you will start from the beginning and can change these settings as needed. I wanna recommend that whenever you purchase new Samsung phones, you hang around the store and power on the device.
Typically there's a preset home on every device purchased that you can edit icons, add widgets and change the background as needed. The only buttons will be in the lower area of the screen if button navigation is selected during the initial setup.
