Was there a very recent Samsung update for mobile devices phones?

Yes the one ui 8 but its for the z flip and fold series they give the new flagship phones the new updates first before they roll out the one ui 8 is suppose to release some time in September

Well. I had one and then started remembering something about a scam. It was unsettling.

@userJywpXE9FdP The August security update has been pushed by several carriers. 

You can look in phone settings -> Software update -> Last update to get details on the last update that was put on your phone.

Okay. Thanks. It said Samsung Software update. Which raised eyebrows..lol its usually from my phone carrier.

Monthly android updates do have Samsung updates in them often
