2 battery Icons

I was going through music and I noticed that there are two battery icons. I know this is normal but what if the "Exclamation point" was in the actual battery bar instead of a separate indicator? 

I understand the notication when you swipe down but this is just a thought.

Hmm. Interesting, but that information (battery bar) is already displayed at the top right. I think that the exclamation is more appropriate as it is a warning to get your attention, followed by the corresponding text.

One is a warning, the other is your normal status. It's different and on the opposite side to get your attention. The one on the left is a notification, that's why It's on the notification side.
