Flat screens are harder to break, easier to repair, easier to apply accessories to, less risk of accidental touches, and so on.

Curved screens are a trend I wouldn't expect to make a reappearance.

I was a fan at first. But after years of not being able to find an inexpensive screen protector that worked well and would not pop off, and the fact that I use the S-Pen for notes quite a bit and started missing a flat screen for thar. Although I still have my S22U and will be keeping it, I'm looking forward to grabbing the S24U with that nice flat screen. That said, the curved screen looks cooler.
