I don't know why Samsung remove their messages app, It's way better than Google Messages. You can still using it, but no RCS. Somebody knows anyway to get RCS at Samsung Messages?

I have pointed this out months ago and it was verified multiple times from new sources as well as Samsung.

1. Samsung Messages supported carrier RCS/advanced messaging.
2. Carriers began switching to RCS through Jibe which Google had no way for "3rd party" messaging apps to use.
3. Google made their Messaging app default for android which supports Jibe.

Until recently Google seemed to open up their stance for use of Jibe outside of Google messages. So far only Samsung Messages has this option if you are on Android 15/OneUI7. So far we are unsure what Google did to open it up as no other 3rd party messaging apps uses Jibe protocol for RCS outside of Samsung.

If one ui 7 didnt bring RCS to older models as they led us to believe. To have hope that one ui8 will do that is just unrealistic .

Nice points!

But they not open RCS too all models.

My s23u, unlocked, USA firmware, T-Mobile sim, one ui 6.1.

RCS options ("chat setting") is not even there. I even got ver 15.7 (SM) that was used in YT Video from apkmirror.

I not install one ui 7 because about send phone in for swollen battery.

What is your scenario for working RCS ?

"So far only Samsung Messages has this option if you are on Android 15/OneUI7."

You are not running an OS or model where Samsung has made it available.  I believe even with models that have gotten the update, the RCS functionality is limited to the S25 only.  Samsung's version of RCS is not compatible, as I understand it, with iPhone users, so if you communicate via RCS with iPhone users, you will have to use Google Messages.
