If the Samsung S26 pro is real, it can't have the same specs as the base s26. Improvements needed with obvious price increase:
6.3-6.4" display 72-75mm wide
120hz refresh rate over 450ppi
Anti Reflective screen
Thickness under 7.9mm
Weight under 190grams
Minimum 45w wired Charging
25w wireless charging
8.5hrs of screen time (min 4400mah battery)
Periscope Zoom!!!

Superb would be
4600mah+ battery size with 45w charger in the box!

Could be the phone to beat, provided they get it right. Samsung has been playing it safe for too long imo.

Agreed. It needs to check alot of boxes. Battery doesn't have to be that big but why does the ultra with the biggest screen always outlast the plus and base! Im a power user that doesn't want a 7 inch phone

Their recent approach has been a strange thing to watch. Samsung has always been about bleeding edge hardware.

While I really, really appreciate the increased emphasis on software, it is so odd to see much smaller and less influential competitors pushing the envelope while Samsung pulls back/holds back.

They *used to be* about bleeding edge hardware. Those days are far in the rear view. I'm much happier with my OnePlus 13 than the S25 Ultra I briefly had.

My heels are dug in pretty deep with Samsung apps and services, but darn it, if 6,000mah batteries and 0-100% charging in 36 minutes aren't super appealing features.

It's very nice to have when you need it. I also like that you can turn off the rapid charging and let it charge at a slower pace. You don't even feel the device heating.
