S20 FE Media Output icons

i recently started using hearing aids and i don't totally understand what i'm seeing in the Media Output screen of my S20 FE. what do the different hearing aid icons mean? can the phone itself change the output from phone to HAs and back? is this situation covered in any online documentation?

The top icon is the icon for a general Bluetooth device. The bottom appears to be recognized as some kind of specialized device, perhaps an app-based connection? You would have to experiment with the output to determine what, if any, the difference is.

Yes, the purpose of the media output page is to select where audio plays, whether that is through the phone itself or through another device. In some cases, you may also be able to do multiple simultaneous device outputs from this page.
