A couple of weeks ago, the buttons for just a couple of apps on my S9 phone got a lot bigger, and I noticed what seem to be a couple of font changes too.  The affected apps are Clock (version 8.1 (799019792)) and Google Meet.  I don't know what setting might have done this.  It isn't "Visibility enhancements / Font size and style".  I've never used Galaxy Themes.  Changing "Screen zoom" makes the font smaller but doesn't restore the buttons' size to normal.  Buttons in most other apps haven't been affected.  Any suggestions on how to undo this, please?

That's the new redesign. Googles repulsive new design ethos, material 3 expressive, is basically to make everything look like its meant for children. My Google meet app has similarly gigantic buttons with a slightly different layout because my phone is bigger than the S9. I assume your clock is the google clock, not the Samsung one as that had not received a redesign, but the google clock did.1757113880897.jpg

Yes, it's the Google clock app.  Gah.  I wouldn't mind if they made the gigantic controls available as an option, but as things are, they take up a lot of screen real estate and crowd out functionality.  I use both the Google and Samsung clock apps, for different sets of alarms, and I can't really get away from the Meet app.

Thank you for explaining.
