Galaxy S PhonesOEM unlock restriction is a violation of my rights, and rights of other people who uses root. My question is, can I get root access on one UI 7 and update to One UI 8 with bootloader unlocked. Will it be force locked? This is the only way to restore Knox functionality for me and thousands of other "power users"

Galaxy S PhonesSo, you really, really want to open yourself up to the exploits that can happen when you root your phone? No wonder Samsung has decided to protect users from themselves. Just buy a phone from a brand where you can unlock the bootloader. Problem solved.

Galaxy S PhonesBeen shopping for a new phone for a while now. This makes the decision a little easier being able to remove the Samsung options from the list. Thanks, I guess?
You removed an option that 90% of people would never touch. Seems arbitrary, pointless, and upsets a small portion of your customers for like no reason. Kinda a bummer.

Galaxy S PhonesYou came here to tell us that? You said it yourself, the restriction only affects a small (I'd say microscopic) portion of customers, so there would be no need to accommodate them. But, it will prevent those who do not use the feature from being caused harm by a malicious actor who may have some access to their devices - hateful ex, malicious roommate, hacker, stalker, etc.

Galaxy S PhonesHonestly, samsung phones are good but what I call them I like is the sound too filtered that samsung slows down old models as if I had an old phone like that I could get a new one like that was with my S24 called like the sound like unnecessary functions and Oem unlock was the solution but since I got it out well I think I'll sell that lam bought with one ui 8 I don't understand what I get so angry oem unlock on samsung that if I don't buy anymore Samsung phones would be a lesson in their minds.

Galaxy S PhonesDid you ever hear of punctuation? That may be the longest run-on sentence I've ever seen.
