Now Bar icon size on status bar in One UI 7

Is there any way to reduce the size of the icon for the now bar on the status bar? If there isn't, there should be. When media is playing, there's no room for other icons, rendering the status bar useless in indicating which apps have sent notifications.

The size of the Now Bar cannot be changed. Icon appearance in general is different now. Submit feedback to Samsung. Follow the steps listed here:

@Members_1QA9tyc You could always just turn everything off for Now bar so it doesn't appear.

Thanks for the suggestion. This does resolve the status bar problem, but it creates a new problem: there is then no way of controlling the media player from the lock screen.

In case anyone has a similar problem and finds this thread: I did post a feedback request in the Samsung Members app. Here is a screenshot of the response I received: 

In text form, here's their reply: "Your feedback/suggestion is highly appreciated. We are glad that you are interested. Changing the concept requires a lot of review. We'll discuss internally whether it can be modified. We appreciate your business."

It may help if more people send them the same feedback!

I have the same issue. I really don't care about the media info, I do want to see the notifications icons though.
