Not able to use GIF's in text messages

Why can't we use GIF's when texting?

You can send Gif images via Samsung messages or Google messages by clicking on the + sign and then add the images to send via text

Thank you, I wish that I could type in the GIF that I'm looking for, like crickets lol, I need it!!!

If you type in the word, Gif it will show a icon on the keyboard, look at the Right side of my keyboard, please note that this is Google messages
