How do I get someones hotspot on my Galaxy A16

Hotspot is just a device broadcasting wifi. So you should see it under your wifi selections, unless they've made the SSID hidden.
Could take a few refreshes to see it.
Pull down on the right side of the screen, tap the area where text would be for wifi - not the icon as that's a toggle to turn wofo on and off, then I usually tap details at the bottom so I'm on an more detailed page.
If not seeing it after you refresh a couple times make sure their SSID is being broadcast, if still not seeing it then reboot your phone and try again.
Some hot spots can be pretty slow to broadcast if they just turned it on.
Friend of mine, hers would shut off after so long and had to flip it back on multiple times a day.

Go under settings, click on connections, scroll down and look for Hotspot and tethering and there you go click on that and you'll have hotspot
