Move the little stars animation to spinner in or through the selfie camera area when editing photos. Also you could put a colored ring around the selfie camera that would correlate with how downloaded emails or text messages or when sending emails or messages Or even when editing photos. It would look way cleaner than the lines that go horizontal when downloading an email attarchnent.

@Bobby34 IMO, having just something spinning around the selfie camera is not nearly visible enough. 

Also, the first action is blocking. Having it in the middle of the screen makes it very apparent that you are waiting for it to complete.
