Samsung needs to do what Apple and Google have done with their flagship phones and introduce a smaller size Galaxy Ultra. Apple offers iPhone 16 pro in regular and XL sizes. Google offers Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL.

My wife and I have used Samsung phones since 2010, but when she recently upgraded we went with the Pixel 9 Pro because she could get their best display and camera in a smaller size. The S25 Ultra is too big for many people's taste.

Why pay full price for a phone when my carrier discounts the upgrades to the point they are almost free. Unless you plan to change carriers it's dumb to pay full price for an unlocked phone

It's dumber to get a phone you don't like because "it's almost free". I would never buy a carrier locked phone for any reason. Not the lest of which is lack of choice. They are able to offer those deals because they have you for at least 2 years and the manfuacturers give them the deals that they pass on to you for the right to control your device.

If you dont mind me asking what phone do you have? How often do you change carriers? I have 10 lines with AT&T, and with discounts 10 lines with unlimited packages with Hotspot etc, is about 400 bucks a month.

To pay full price for 10 phones on 10 lines is about $10,000. I don't have a major problem with Samsung, and just think it would smart for them to offer the high end Galaxy in more than one size

I went from an S10 lite to an A54 because I'm only willing to pay for features I need, not spend a fortune for stuff I have no use for. I use my phone as a utalitarian device. I had been with AT&T from 1996 to 2020 when I switched to T-Mobile because I was displeased with AT&T. So I guess you can say I switch carriers every 25 years. I also only have one phone with one line. I have had many branded phones over the years and only bought my S10 because my Asus aged out of updates and there was a black Friday deal. Of the 4 S10 models, the lite was the hand happiest and had the buttons where I wanted them. If it had been designed as stupidly as the other S10s, I would have bought another Asus.

I have a computer, so I don't need for my phone to be anything other than a phone and internet device.
