Encrypted Data Protection notification and can't sync

So once in a while id get a notification for encrypted data protection and can't sync cuz I would have to put the key in but I didn't know you had to save that somewhere and idk how to reset it and when I go into it it says to confirm it that's it and i don't wanna have to factory reset my phone šŸ˜” someone help please

There are password apps, like Samsung Pass, and others that are even cross platform and save your passwords securely in the cloud.

Only thing a factory reset would do is you having to go thru everything again settings etc not fix the issue stated minus be able to know the password

I don't know why you would have to be told to write down or remember a password. Especially passwords you do not use very often.  As someone said earlier, there are excellent password managers out there and you can have a different password for every app and not have to remember a single one.  I'd avoid Samsung Pass, though.  It's convenient when you're on a Samsung device, but if you ever need to read your passwords well, Samsung Pass is ONLY readable on Samsung devices and all your passwords will be gone if you decide to buy another brand of phone.  Stick with Google, LastPass, OnePassword, Roboform.  All these are universal and will work on any device.
