Camera zoom with one hand?

The S8 camera was able to zoom by dragging the shutter button up/down. This allowed me to hold the camera steady while zooming.

I can't get it to work on the S10. The only gesture I've found is to pinch zoom on the viewfinder, but that means I'm holding the phone with one hand and it's much shakier.

Is there a way to enable the old style zooming?

You can zoom by pressing on the lens selection area (where you select wide, normal, or zoom) and scrolling left or right.
