When sending Galaxy Ring in for warranty repair do I need to perform a factory reset?

Done, just waiting on the label. It's been 2 hrs since the phone call confirming my info.

Still waiting! It's as if they want you to give up! Another hour wasted for the same information for a third time.

Sorta, we will see if it gets replaced or sent back. They might consider 2 days battery life fine and dandy on a ring that used to get me 6 days!

Still not worked out. I swear, the circle runaround is making me crazy. No shipping label yet. Another hour of my life wasted. You will get the shipping label in real time they promised. Twice I have had to send proof of purchase. I've had to have my warranty changed to reflect the delivery date. They want you to give up!

I know with our phones we can put them into a Service Mode that protects sensitive data when in for service. Not sure if they have a similar feature for the Galaxy Ring or not.
