Galaxy RingThank you for reaching out, userAV8fwDY2Oe. I can certainly understand your concern with your ring not performing gestures as you expected. If gestures aren't working while wearing your Galaxy Ring, you may need to double-check that they've been enabled in the Galaxy Wearable app. Your phone must be running One UI 6.1.1 or above as well. Give this link a try for some troubleshooting steps: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10003610/
If you have tried the troubleshooting steps and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend resetting your ring: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003284/
I would also recommend submitting an error report as it will allow our team of engineers to look into the symptom you are experiencing: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Submit-an-Error-Report/ba-p/3001692
