H I'm a student and was looking for a tablet to tale notes, read pdfs and stuff. Within my budget I have Ipad 11 and Samsung S10 FE. I was wondering which would be best. I'm kinda biased towards android but some friends told me android tablets tend get slower overtime, is it true for Samsung tabs?

Educated guess says the latter part of the final sentence is the message these duplicate posts are trying to convey.

Shocked another brand new account hasn't swooped in to advise against Samsung based on supposed "experience"

Do they keep creating a new account to ask the same question over and over almost verbatim?

Yes, and it's not *almost* verbatim, it's word for word identical.  It's like the bot is trying to foster engagement but failing each time, so creates a new account and asks again, or the account gets reported and removed and the process starts again.

Someone has a lot of times on their hands, and keeps waiting for someone to chime in. Hopefully @LordGoose has finally answered their question enough that we won't see this question again.

If you have an android phone, you should get the galaxy tab. If you have an iPhone, you should get the iPad. The exception is if you need a platform specific feature, in which case, you should go with whatever platform has that feature.

I have the iPad air M3, and that thing lags despite being new. The software keyboard doesn't always show up, navigation is unreliable, and iPhone apps don't scale for the iPad. If you compare a $70 android tablet to a new iPad, it will be worse, and that's what these people normally do. An android tablet in the same price range as an iPad will perform the same as or even out perform the ipad.
