Galaxy Note PhonesHello,
All of a sudden, I wasn't able to charge and/or connect my Note 20 to my laptop. It gave me the warning: Check your charger connection. Make sure the cable and charger are properly connected.
My phone battery got too hot and it expanded, so I replaced it with a new battery. And I have also replaced the charging port dock connector with a new one and made sure all the connections are secured, I still got the same error. My wireless charging has no problem which I am using it to charge my phone currently. But I would like to be able to connect my Note 20 with my laptop so I can access certain files.
So what could I do any further besides sending it to Samsung to repair it?
Any suggestions/comments are much appreciated.
Thank you.

Galaxy Note PhonesIf not, the port is bad.

Galaxy Note PhonesNo, it won't charge, as I mentioned in my original post, it gave me a warning. I have some large files which are too large to share.
What did you mean by "the port is bad"? I have replaced the charging port dock connector with a new one already (see attached jpg).

Thank you.

Galaxy Note PhonesYou can send files to your computer using nearby share. You have to install the software on your computer if not already there. No limitations on file sharing using this method.
Plenty of videos on YouTube on how to set it up

Galaxy Note PhonesThank you. I still like to be able to connect my phone to my laptop. I guess I have to take it to a repair shop to check what's the problem.
