Samsung Cloud backup stuck at 100%

Samsung Cloud back up is for some reason always stuck at 100% and it won't finish/complete. I'm concerned it's draining the battery. I've checked already the possible reasons for example the cloud storage (9.5GB available), removed the cache from the Samsung Cloud app, restarted the device and app. Most importantly I've removed all the options of backing up data, so in theory it shouldn't even try to back up anything.

Any suggestions on what to do exactly?

The issue I'm having is that the automatic backup (which I have disabled) is trying to back upp something and it's stuck at 100% all the time... Do you have any idea on what could cause that problem?

I don't think it's actually related to the watch at all. I have updated the watch now and the only notification that's showing is that backup issue

Hello Fortuntato, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern with Samsung Cloud being stuck at 100%.

Have you tried disconnecting the watch from the phone (or updating it) to see if that removes the notification? It is possible your pending watch update is causing Samsung Cloud to stick as the watch backs up to your Samsung account.

I don't think that is causing the issue. The watch update appeared only today, while the samsung cloud back up problem has been going for like a week now. Do you know if I can safely clear data in the Samsung Cloud app without affecting the contacts?

I've tried wipe cache partition and removing all the options in the backup sync, but this is still appearing. Anything else to try?

We are sorry to hear the backup will still not complete. This link is the recommended troubleshooting: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01213631/

If you are able to back up the data using another method, we would recommend a factory reset of the phone to try to get Samsung Cloud to complete a backup. Here is a link with options for backing up the phone: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002780/

We recommend submitting feedback in the Members app, under the Support tab, to provide data logs to Samsung, so they can address the matter. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692

Same problem here (Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy Watch 7). So, no solution?
