Yesterday I found that the Mobile Hostspot and Tethering menu item under Connection settings was gone. I guess when it updated on April 17, 2022, it's gone now. I contacted T-Mobile who verified that the feature is included in my plan. Rebooting did not fix it. Resetting network settings likewise did not fix it. Sounds like a bad update? Is anyone else seeing this issue? Been using this feature for a while now... Getting upset cause I count on it between work and home. Argh!
Troubleshooted my own problem.... Solved! Kinda.... The option may have disappeared from the (UI) user interface, but you can still search for it using the words " mobile hotspot " When the choices come up, choose the actual function instead of the category and it will come up. Then you can use it. Wish I can make my own shortcut to that function. Phew .... My phone is still old though....but it works great and I have my mobile hotspot back. 🙂

Just saying tho, it's pretty old. But it was a trooper. If 5g wasn't glitches, I'd say you def need to upgrade tho. I know att will give u a free s22 if you trade it. Or a s22 ultra (22 note) for 800 off. It's what I did and thar was with a busted but working g note 8 too. Also samsung had the same promotion not long ago. You wouldn't be sorry if u did. Amd the 5g thing is prolly just here in the twilight zone.
