take it to nearest samsung service center, prove it's yours (bring invoice or anything to prove it's yours), then Samsung will reset it for you like a new device

Factory reset the phone via recovery. You can then set up a new password. You can restore the backup from your lost phone. Snything still compatible will restore. To enter tecovery mode, your phone should be off. Since you can't turn it off without your password, you will have to let the battery die. When off, charge the phone. Then press and hold the powerband volume up buttons and let go of the power button as soon as you see the Samsung logo. Then tap snd release the volume up button until recovery mode starts. Navigate the menu with the volume keys, select with the power key. Choose factory reset and confirm. The phone will reset and reboot. You may have to select reboot. When the phone reboots, log into your accounts and either restore your backup or start from scratch. Passwords are never stored with the backup, so you can set a new password. You realize a 5 year old phone is not eligible for any updates, although it may update to the last Android version and UI you were eligible for.
